In this final of six episodes of “Denver’s Changing Neighborhoods” reported by Rocky Mountain PBS explains the living streets initiative of Denver. This considers transforming the streets to living streets.

In a living street, the traffic is calmer, street scape inviting and stores are stores are oriented to the streets themselves. This is an effort go back to our roots of walking and interacting with our neighbors in the community.

I discovered this series of “Denver’s Changing Neighborhoods” reported by Rocky Mountain PBS showing how the city of Denver is transforming its corridors into “living streets.” There are six videos on several aspects of walkable/liveable/healthy Denver communities.

Denver is a healthy vibrant city with over 300 days a year of sunshine. With an abundance of outdoor activities in all weather conditions from skiing, fishing, hiking, and all types of sports this city never stops. Denver has all lines of professional sports teams.

The city continues to expand its mass transportation facilities and move into the direction of the future. I hope you enjoy this series and I will try to add my two cents for video. I invite you learn more about Denver neighborhoods at your convenience.
