Sedalia can be found between Denver and Castle Rock along the US-85 corridor. Sedalia real estate offers you the feel of a quaint small town while still being near enough to the greater Denver region to give you access to all of the conveniences and amenities that being near a big city affords.
Not that you’ll need to leave your Sedalia home to see the sights. Here, you can visit Cherokee Ranch, which is a Scottish style castle that is seated on a grassy hill outside of Sedalia. The Cherokee Ranch houses a number of works of art from artists around the world. There are a number of works by Sir Christopher Wren, who was the architect for St. Paul’s in London. This ranch is also a working cattle ranch with more than 3,000 acres.
If art isn’t your thing, don’t despair. You should still keep looking at those Sedalia homes. The Pike National Forest is nearby, offering opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing and more. The South Platte River, just west of Sedalia, is the best place to fish, however. The town has a number of biking and hiking trails, as well.
Home choices abound in Sedalia. You’ll find older homes that have been recently renovated. You’ll find some newer homes, many of which are situated on larger, wooded lots. No matter your preference, you’re likely to find something that suits you in Sedalia.
